AGENT PROVOCATEUR GLASS

Nero Glass Design have supplied internal mirror cladding, signage and hundreds of decorative glass drawer fronts for Agent Provocateur throughout the UK and the world for many years, including Harrods and many other top outlets. The drawer fronts for the various shops and outlets were made in 6mm thick toughened safety glass, polished and bevelled all round with holes for handles and were decorated on the rear surface with an elaborate silvered lace design incorporating the AP monogram whilst leaving clear areas through which you gained tantalising glimpses of the exotic contents of each drawer.

We have also supplied special one off items for marketing campaigns, such as the sunburst bedhead made from silvered bronze glass, as shown in the adjacent marketing photograph

DAVID BOWIE GLASS MEMORIAL

We were consulted by Lambeth Council and Morleys Brixton, on whose walls the mural has been created, to advise on how to protect James Cochran’s ‘David Bowie / Aladdin Sane’ mural in Tunstall Road, Brixton from the overzealous attention of certain fans. The solution was to encapsulate it in framed glass to enable all the faithful fans and tourists to be able to enjoy the artwork in its refurbished splendour whilst protecting it from the graffiti which has often defaced it since its conception. Due to the size of the artwork the screen needed to be created with structural toughened and laminated glass and the frame needed to be water resistant whilst still allowing some movement of air to help avoid condensation forming during sudden changes of temperature and humidity.
